(no title)
I know I have a rich life. But today was perfectly boring.
My work felt meaningless. (boss, stop reading here) I never felt like I really had much to do and I never got much done, although I never got done what I had to do. The situation was exacerbated by my body refusing to completely wake up and get with it. Very annoying when it does that. But in spite of all that, two notable things happened to me today.
- I got most of my Focus on the Family Radio Theatre Chronicles of Narnia CD set backed up and copied to other CD’s. Now I can stash the originals away and don’t have to worry about scratches. They really are priceless.
- One of our customers told me that she wants me, not [insert name of coworker here] to fix her computer from now on. I felt affirmed. I enjoy that.
So the day was redeemed, in spite of all the strikes against it. I am again perfectly happy. (well, not quite)

It is odd how we measure a day’s success or failure by such small matters. A comment, a project, a note, a phone call…so much is won and lost in a moment.
