We have been BUSY! I am telling you, these guys know how to make us work! Since we have a relatively short time per term (3 wks), we’ve got to stuff as much class time per day into that, and stuff it they do. Four hour and a half classes a day, plus chapel, plus a planned evening activity, plus homework, makes a nice full schedule. So it’s great to be sitting here on a Saturday morning with relatively nothing planned for the day. Ahhh….
Let me tell you, I love it here! The students are great, the teachers excellent, the classes life-changing, etc etc etc. Thai culture is fascinating, the language nearly impossible, the people nice, the food very good (if you like rice) and way too spicy (unless you have your own personal Thai cook) (which we do).
It is VERY warm (over 100 most days) (No, we don’t have AC). We have approx 10 fans in our dorm. But it’s cooled off just a bit, thanks to some rain, and last night I was actually glad for a sheet over me.
About future updates. I’ll probably be writing a few (no promises) updates by email, especially when we do ministry trips. If you want to receive these, send an email to updates@deepbrew.com, or my regular address if you have it, and I’ll put you on my list. And I’m also going to try to post more student pics sometime on this blog.

Just because I’m sure all of you are simply dying to know who’s here, and so I don’t forget after I get back who I was actually with, I’m going to post pics of all my fellow students, several at a time. Here’s Ryan, Phil, and Alex to get started.
